Nuclear Chemistry Division Award of the German Chemical Society (GDCh)

Dr. Jenna Poonoosamy has been awarded the Nuclear Chemistry Division Award of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) for her work in radiogeochemistry. The prize is awarded every four years to dedicated scientists who have demonstrated outstanding independent scientific work in the field of nuclear chemistry early in their scientific careers.

Dr. Jenna Poonoosamy received the Award at the Division 's Annual Meeting on 6 November 2024 in Karlsruhe. She presented scientific achievements in a lecture, entitled "The fate of radium in energy-related subsurface applications: From the laboratory to the real world."
