New video: PHILEAS - HALO research aircraft investigates transport of greenhouse gases and aerosols
This video introduces the PHILEAS (Probing High Latitude Export of Air from the Asian Summer Monsoon) research campaign, which will be conducted by a team of atmospheric scientists in the summer of 2023. The campaign aims to study the transport of polluted air masses from the Asian monsoon in Southeast Asia to the lower stratosphere over Europe and to understand its impact on global climate and weather.
