Award for Natalie Röhrig at the 15th Freiberg Refractory Forum
Natalie Röhrig was awarded the Theodor Haase Prize 2024 for her master's thesis titled "Reactive field assisted sintering of stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric YAG ceramics and their etching behaviour" at the 15th Freiberg Refractories Forum on the 11th of December. This prize is awarded for outstanding diploma or master's theses by young experts in the field of refractory materials. Last year, there were three winners from different colleges and universities. In March 2023, Natalie Röhrig completed her Master's degree studies in materials science at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and conducted research at the IMD-2 (formerly IEK-1) in Forschungszentrum (research group "Particle-based manufacturing processes and sintering").
