PD Dr. Georg Mauer appointed as an honorary professor at TU Dortmund

Priv.-Doz. Dr.-Ing. Georg Mauer, head of Thermal Coating Technologies team at IMD-2, has been appointed as an honorary professor by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Dortmund. The title is awarded to people who have an outstanding professional record in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in a field represented at the university, or who have an outstanding record in research and teaching that meets the requirements for full-time professors.
