Equipment of the Laboratory

The modern equipped laboratories of INM-1 enable research work on the highest level. In addition to the possibility of making large sections for kerosene histology, the laboratory also has a large section cryostat that allows the production of tissue sections in the micrometer range at -50°C.

To perform radioactive receptor autoradiography in vitro, the laboratory has active laboratories for handling tritium, [3H].

The deep-freeze storage of the tissue sections is carried out in -80°C freezers, which are monitored around the clock via a connection to the security center of the research center.
