Devices for Renewable Energy Technologies

About

With the ITE, FZJ operates a uniquely equipped multidisciplinary institute with a high level of methodological expertise and several laboratories (e.g. SOC production laboratory, high-temperature materials and joining laboratory, post-test analysis laboratory). As a high-tech partner for cutting-edge research, ITE enables excellent research, realises innovative scientific ideas and delivers pioneering solutions that drive progress in the scientific contribution to the energy transition. This results in scientific devices, components, processes or fully integrated systems that are not available on the market for proof-of-concept studies or demonstration projects. The user-oriented approach to new challenges leads to new approaches and scientific specialisations. This allows the boundaries of feasibility to be pushed back. Our approach goes beyond the provision of hardware. We ensure the seamless integration of innovations into a user-friendly system that ensures accurate data collection, provides intelligent data management for scientific evaluation, meets security requirements and uses industrial standards. Collaboration at Helmholtz level and with major national and international science centres. The results are technological masterpieces and highly complex scientific facilities "Made in Jülich".
