JARA Institute Energy-efficient information technology (PGI-10)

We develop energy-efficient and sustainable technologies and devices for neuromorphic computing. Our research focuses on high quality in-situ grown nanostructures such as photodetectors and hybrid semiconductor/phase change material nanowires for neuromorphic computing.

The Institute combines expertise in physics and electrical engineering to develop low-power semiconductor devices, scalable resistive switches and high-throughput fault-tolerant circuit architectures in close collaboration with Helmholtz Nano Facility (HNF) Cleanroom.
