About Linus Hammacher
Linus Hammacher holds a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an M. Sc. in Chemical Engineering, both from RWTH Aachen University. Throughout his studies, he focused on hybrid modeling, which is defined as the coupling of macroscale physics-based models with machine learning approaches in this context. In particular, he focused on simulating the performance of extrusion machines for high-performance polymers and on simulating the dynamic processes in liquid-liquid extraction columns. Since 2024, he is a doctoral candidate at "Electrolysis & Fuel Cells" of IET-1, focusing on simulating the dynamic processes in PEM electrolyzers. His supervisor is Prof. Dr. Rüdiger-A. Eichel.
