About me
Quantum computing caught my interest during my bachelors, where I started investigating variational and dissipative quantum algorithms. Now, as a PhD candidate, I focus on the optimization of quantum hardware using optimal control techniques. Therefore, I am currently closely collaborating with experimentalists in order to optimise the preparation procedure for circular Rydberg atom arrays. Approaching this problem from the theoretical side, I build a simulation of the experiment and use it to find optimal controls, such as radio frequency pulse shapes. Those controls will finally be used to improve the real hardware.
