Cristina Manzano studied telecommunications engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia UPV in Spain and got her master's degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU in Trondheim. Employed at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany since 2009 in the division Technology of the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, she has participated as data and file system expert in different European projects such as EUDAT and the DEEP projects, has been part of the core team initially developing the LOFAR Long Term Archive in Jülich, and continues working on the day-to-day operation of said archive, as well as in optimizations, I/O research and data challenges.
