Phase-change memory and switching materials

Prof. Elliott is one of the best-known and most experienced theoreticians in the field of disordered materials. His work spans the whole range of these materials and has resulted in many articles and two books. Of particular interest now are phase change materials, involving a reversible transition between ordered and disordered phases, and the recent development of and simulations using a machine-learned potential.
