About us

The IBG-5 combines research with the necessary infrastructure to advance computational metagenomics through cloud-based analysis workflows and web-based systems. As coordinator of the German ELIXIR node (de.NBI) in the European network, training and bioinformatics services are offered and a federated cloud infrastructure for scientific applications is operated.
