Rehabilitation of cognitive impairments

The study group rehabilitation of cognitive impariments is an interdisciplinary group whose members are skilled in clinical neurology (stroke treatment), cognitive neurology, cognitive neurobiology, neurorehabilitation and neuropsychology.
Non-invasie brain stimulation is used for neuromodulation purposes. Two examples which are able to induce longer lasting changes of cortical excitability are transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
