We use the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon for fast and precise 3D printing using the FDM process (Fused Deposition Modelling). This involves melting a plastic filament layer by layer and applying it with precision. The printer processes a wide variety of materials, including fibre-reinforced filaments, and is ideal for functional prototypes, brackets, housings or assembly aids. The optional AMS module also allows different colours and materials to be combined within a single printing process.

Special features:

  • Successful prints with PLA boron and ABS gadolinium (material not in stock; only available on request)

Thanks to automatic calibration and high printing speeds, the X1 Carbon is particularly efficient in everyday research and a reliable addition to our SLA-based processes.
