NanoESCA beamline

A novel electrostatic PEEM microscope with energy filter is being installed on the second branch of Nanospectroscopy. The microscope, named NanoESCA, is managed by an international consortium lead by Prof.Dr. Claus Michael Schneider (Forschungszentrum Jülich).

Starting from January 2012, the NanoESCA will be opened to Elettra general users (20% of the total beamtime available on Nanospectroscopy). All proposals requiring this instrument must be submitted on the Virtual Unified Office indicating NanoESCA as beamline.
