Nanomaterials for green energy

We study catalyst nanoparticles and nanomaterials for green energy storage and conversion processes. The main objective is to understand the relationship between the atomic-scale microstructure and the performance of nanoparticle catalysts for a rational design of more advanced materials. We use advanced high-resolution transmission electron microscopy techniques with a special focus on in-situ and operando techniques.
