IAGOS-CARIBIC
In the frame of the IAGOS-CARIBIC project coordinated by KIT a multi-instrument container will be regularly deployed onboard a Lufthansa A-350 passenger aircraft to provide multi-species global climatological datasets of atmospheric trace gases and aerosols. The ICE-4 instrument FunMass will sensitively measure spatially well resolved datasets for e.g. sulfur dioxide, SO₂, which have been completely lacking so far.
