Seminar Trip a Great Success

Colleagues from Helmholtz Institute Münster (HI MS; IEK-12) of Forschungszentrum Jülich went to Bad Sassendorf for three days of professional and informal exchange.

19 July 2023 – Teamwork is very important at Helmholtz Institute Münster (HI MS; IEK-12) of Forschungszentrum Jülich. That's why the colleagues – after a Corona break – went on a joint seminar trip again this year. The participants look back positively on the professional and informal exchange from 27 to 29 June in the green surroundings of Bad Sassendorf.

The scientists had the opportunity to exchange ideas on their respective research topics in the form of short presentations, poster contributions and group work. New equipment for the HI MS labs was also presented, for example the DNP-MAS-NMR for the mapping of ion dynamics.

During joint outdoor activities, the colleagues also got to know each other better on a personal level. "This strengthens the feeling of togetherness and is certainly helpful for the work as a team back in Münster and Aachen," reports Dr Hinrich-Wilhelm Meyer, Scientific Coordinator at HI MS.
