TOAR data user training workshop
The new version of the TOAR database features a new web interface (REST API) and offers new ways to analyze the metadata and data of one of the largest collections of ozone-related air quality data in the world.
Goal and Scope:
The new version of the TOAR database features a new web interface (REST API) and offers new ways to analyze the metadata and data of one of the largest collections of ozone-related air quality data in the world. At the time of the workshop, we expect to have most data included in the new database so that the TOAR community can begin their analysis for the Community Special Issue papers and start planning the analyses for the assessment report.
The workshop shall provide information and training on the use of the TOAR database. It includes a hackathon-like session where people can bring their own analysis problems and we will work with them to try and implement these as efficient workflows.
It is recommended that attendees have some basic knowledge of Python and, ideally, are familiar with Jupyter notebooks.
