CLA-Bot

Licensing and provenance of software contributions are an important aspect of open-source projects. The CLA-Bot is developed as GitLab CI/CD component to help ensuring incoming contributions to projects are licensed appropriately. The goal is to support DCOs as well as CLAs, the latter backed by tracking previous approvals. Here, the users' approval can be expressed via exchanging signed documents or as an integrated process within merge requests and their comments.
