Abstract: This talk will discuss the characteristics, attributes and features that will be needed in mini-app and mini-workflow apps to be of use in selecting technology at the extreme scale such as a follow on to the Blue Waters systems. The talk will also discuss the risks that need to be addressed in a mini-app suite.
