Update on Blue Gene Active Storage

Abstract: In this talk we give an update on usage of BGAS at JSC. We report on results obtained by the University of Chicago group on porting Global View Resilience (GVR) to BGAS. We furthermore report on a first prototype for using BGAS as a semi-persistent buffer for pre-staging data. As part of our outlook we will discuss details of the Direct Storage Access interface.
