VSR Seminars

VSR Seminars regularly take place twice a year in April and October. They offer talks by researchers from Forschungszentrum Jülich about their computing time projects on the supercomputers.

Computational and Data Science Seminar

The CADS seminars are held fortnightly (Tuesdays, 10:30) by the Computational Science division and usually offers a talk by group members or guests highlighting recent work or visits to conferences and workshops.

Colloquia

Regular colloquia at JSC are the guest student colloquium and the end-of-year colloquium. Occationally, JSC employees also give talks at the Jülich Colloquium or the event series "Wissenschaft online" of Forschungszentrum Jülich.

MSA Seminar

This seminar series on Modular Supercomputing Architectures (MSA) took place in 2019 and 2020. The goal was to continue raising the awareness of and distributing the knowledge on modular computing to JSC's supercomputer users. With regard to the installation of the new JUWELS Booster module - a massively parallel system with NVIDIA GPUs,- the seminar focused on GPU usage and community software.
