We are happy to welcome Dr. Pablo Jiménez-Calvo from the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. He will give a talk on  "Solar Energy Conversion using Carbon Nitride-Interfaces for Photoelectrocatalysis: A Path to Sustainable Energy Carriers".

Dr. Pablo Jiménez-Calvo is an esteemed Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) independent Post-Doctoral Fellow at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. With a interdisciplinary background in Materials Chemistry, Physics and Chemical Process Engineering, his expertise lies in developing both energy materials and devices for solar energy utilization. Specifically, he focuses on photoelectrocatalysis and artificial photosynthesis, with a special emphasis on carbon nitrides-based materials. His research contributions have spanned multiple prestigious institutions, including the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, the Solid-State Physics Laboratory at the University of Paris-Saclay, and the University of Strasbourg.
