Sci & Ski Retreat March 2024

The first PhD Retreat "Sci & Ski" of 2024 was a success.

The first PhD retreat this year, „Sci & Ski“, has taken place in March at Haus Overbach near Jülich. The participants had the chance to present the progress of their projects to their colleagues. A broad spectrum of topics was covered, from fundamental characterizations of newly developed materials via operating strategies for energy conversion systems to reduction of aging phenomenons. In personal discussions with Prof. Eichel, the progress and the scientific goals of the participants were discussed in more detail. Despite the typical April weather, the participants could enjoy the nature around the Rur meander and challenge each other to a chess match.
