The Magna Cum Laude Merit Award is a highly prestigious accolade presented to doctoral students and young postdoctoral fellows whose abstracts are recognised as being among the top 15% in a particular topic area.
Dr. Fabian Küppers received the esteemed 2023 ISMRM Magna Cum Laude Merit Award at the Annual Meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
This accolade was given for his outstanding abstract entitled, 'Simultaneous T2/T2* quantification for oxygen extraction fraction estimation using GE-SE EPIK: A preliminary study on tumor data'.

The International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine is a "multi-disciplinary nonprofit association that promotes innovation, development, and application of magnetic resonance techniques in medicine and biology throughout the world".
Shukti Ramkiran (right) secured the 3rd place in the Psychiatric MR Spectroscopy & Imaging Abstract Award category during the 2023 Annual Meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM).
