JUQCS-50 is a high-performance simulator developed to reproduce the operation of a universal 50-qubit quantum computer on JUPITER. The implementation exploits the heterogeneous CPU–GPU design of NVIDIA GH200 superchips, extending usable memory beyond individual GPU limits, reducing the memory footprint through adaptive data encoding, and optimizing network traffic during execution. Together these developments enabled the first full classical simulation of a 50-qubit universal quantum computer and provide a powerful platform for testing and benchmarking quantum algorithms.
