Report: LLEC-Stakeholderdialog 2023

LLEC Stakeholderdialogue 2023

On August 09, 2023, our LLEC Stakeholder Dialogue on the topic "The Real Lab as a Shortcut to Technology Transfer?" (German: "Das Reallabor als Abkürzung zum Technologietransfer?") took place . Approximately 50 participants on site as well as about 30 registered online participants learned more about current developments in the living lab "Living Lab Energy Campus (LLEC)" and discussed ways for a successful knowledge and technology transfer.

During an extensive LLEC campus tour, participants gained an in-depth insight into the LLEC on site. They visited the demonstrators regarding the topics hydrogen, LOHC, batteries, model predictive control and building control systems, photovoltaics as well as waste heat usage and low temperature grid.
In two presentations, project members reported on challenges, initial results, and next steps in the project. In addition, there were two exciting contributions from cooperation partners on challenges and best practice examples for successful technology transfer.
In a panel discussion and at the subsequent get-together, there was ample opportunity for in-depth discussion on the topic of technology transfer and for personal exchange with project participants and other stakeholders.
