POP2 (Performance Optimization and Productivity) is one of the 10 EU H2020 Center of Excellence (CoE) in HPC. HPC experts of the project partners in this CoE optimize and tune scientific applications from industry and research in collaboration with the developers of the codes for today's complex supercomputers and to prepare them for upcoming exascale computers.

The project is an extension of the POP1 CoE (2015-2018) which already successfully optimized over 150 HPC applications, achieving significant performance gains in the process.
