Prof. Ralf Peters has held the Chair of "Process Engineering for Synthetic Fuels" at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) since October 2023. As a so-called Leerprofessor (empty professor), he is simultaneously acting as the provisional head of IET-4 at Forschungszentrum Jülich and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RUB.

In future, Peters will offer students at the RUB a course on hydrogen technologies. This will impart basic knowledge about the current technologies that play a role in the energy transition.
