Profile
IET-4 provides technologies as well as processing concepts and models for the sustainable energy systems of the future that use fuel cells, electrolysis, and fuel synthesis.
The Institute of Energy Technologies – Electrochemical Process Engineering (IET-4) contributes to research and development for the use of electrochemical conversion technologies and chemically catalyzed fuel synthesis in applications in the mobile and stationary sectors. By dovetailing basic research and application-oriented development, IET-4 expedites the marketability of electrolyzers and fuel cells as well as the implementation of synthetic fuels.
