The Scientific IT and Research Data Management team, led by Björn Mayer, is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure in research, analytics, and radiopharmaceutical production. Particular attention is given to complying with the stringent operational and documentation guidelines for radiopharmaceutical production in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). In addition, the team is committed to identifying, developing, and implementing innovative technical solutions to optimize workflows within the institute. Key focus areas include the introduction of an improved research data management system aligned with the FAIR data principles, as well as the development of monitoring and control systems for operation of the new cyclotron.
