Organisation
Scientific work groups
The Institute of Nuclear Chemistry (INM-5) is organised into various scientific working groups. At the Jülich site, research is conducted on all aspects of radiochemistry, from basic nuclide research and the radiochemical synthesis of new radiotracers to the automation and refinement of radiopharmaceutical production.
Technical service
The scientists are supported by technical teams from Nuclide Production and Targetry for the supply of radionuclides for chemical processing, the IT team and Radiation Protection.
In addition, the research centre works very closely with the Institute of Radiochemistry and Experimental Molecular Imaging (IREMB) at the University Hospital Cologne and the Chair of Nuclear Chemistry at the University of Cologne.
