To round off the year, we warmly invite you to our Winter Networking Event for Postdocs.
Alongside inspiring discussions and a relaxed atmosphere, you can look forward to an exciting workshop!
🌍 Workshop Highlight:
“Pursuing a Post-Doc in Germany: What’s it like – and how could it change?”
Join us for a one-hour workshop featuring:
🔬 Dr. Nicholas Russell (Humboldt University of Berlin) and the Career Center team, who will share insights from recent surveys, including:
- A recent Postdoc Survey by the Max Planck Institute
- The latest results of the Leibniz PostDoc Survey (Leibniz PostDoc Network)
- The Career Center’s FZJ Postdoc Survey, as well as
- The BuWiK Federal Report on Scientists in the Early Stages of Their Careers
🏫 Dr. Fiona Brown-Burke (Postdoc Network of the German Cancer Research Center & HAPN – Helmholtz Association Postdoc Network) will present new recommendations, including those of the German Science Council, exploring how these developments might shape the future of postdoctoral research in Germany.
