Nanofabrication and Quantum Sensing
The group nanofabricate novel Josephson junctions and heterostructures based on d-wave and s-wave superconductors and investigate their properties on the scale of the order of coherence length (~ 1nm for YBCO and ~ 20nm for Nb thin films for development of thin-film nanostructures for supersensitive (~fT/rt(Hz), ~µB/rt(Hz) magnetic field measurements and other prospective applications.
Topics
- Nanofabrication of superconducting circuits
- Oxide heterostructures
- Novel Josephson junctions
- Superconducting quantum interferometers (SQUIDs)
