About the ZuWaKo project
Heatwaves, droughts and heavy rainfall events are increasingly revealing that water conflicts are on the rise even in Germany. Competing demands between industry, agriculture, households and ecosystems are becoming more acute. To date, there has been a lack of social-science scenarios that systematically and forward-lookingly address these conflicts. The ZuWaKo project serves as a case study, demonstrating how complex interactions between actors and measures can be made visible.
