Poster award

Irina Galkina was awarded 3rd place for her scientific poster at the renowned Workshop on Ion Exchange Membranes for Energy Applications (EMEA) in Bad Zwischenahn. Among numerous contributions, her poster entitled "Lab-to-Stack Transition of NiFe-LDH MEAs for Sustainable AEM Water Electrolysis" stood out.

The work impressively demonstrates the successful scaling of a 5 cm² single cell to a 380 cm² short stack. The stack was operated for over 100 hours under demanding conditions (over 2 A/cm², 2 V, up to 8 bar) - without the use of platinum group metals on the anode side. The performance values achieved exceed the targets of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of the EU's Clean Hydrogen Partnership.
