Poster Award at 23rd International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization

Telma Moreira was awarded 1st place for her scientific poster at the 23rd International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization, held at Washington University in St. Louis. Among numerous contributions, her poster entitled "Inside the Reactor: Kinetic Model of Methanol-to-Gasoline based on Spatially Resolved Profiles" stood out.

Telma Moreira is awarded the 1st place for her scientific poster

Since November 2023, Telma Moreira has been a PhD student at the Institute of Energy Technologies – Electrochemical Process Engineering (IET-4), working on the development of synthetic fuels. Her work aims to contribute to the development and optimisation of the methanol-to-gasoline process for producing sustainable gasoline-range hydrocarbons. Her research focuses on developing a kinetic model that incorporates spatially resolved concentration and temperature profiles obtained experimentally using a Compact Profile Reactor.
