Equipment for material synthesis

Spray drying

Spray drying can be used to produce powders with particle sizes ranging from a few micrometers to several hundred micrometers. Both aqueous and organic spray solutions can be sprayed and dried in the spray dryer (HTWS2, Glatt Ingenieurtechnik GmbH) at temperatures of up to 900 °C. Depending on the system, batch sizes range from hundreds of grams to kilograms.

Einrichtungen zur Materialsynthese
Nubilosa spray dryer for water-based solutions TTI-EB: Maximum temperature approx. 350 °C, water evaporation capacity max. 20 l per hour: Product output up to 20 kg of powder per hour

Einrichtungen zur Materialsynthese
GEA Niro A/S Mobile Minor 2000, EX-protected, also for flammable solvents

Taylor-Flow-Reaktor

For materials containing heavy metals, synthesis can be carried out using wet chemistry in a Taylor Couette reactor (LCTR, Laminar Co., Ltd.). This continuous synthesis method can produce several hundred grams of monomodal powder per day.
