Catalytic Interfaces
In the Team “Catalytic Interfaces”, we investigate the physical and electronic structure as well as the morphological properties of catalytic interfaces for chemical hydrogen storage.

In the department “Fundamentals of Chemical Hydrogen Storage”, we research the fundamental phenomena underlying the productivity, efficiency and selectivity of chemical hydrogen storage. Our goal is to maximize these performance parameters. The focus is on atomic to mesoscale mechanisms and processes on the corresponding catalytic interfaces. Furthermore, the structure-function relationships need to be explored, which we achieve through advanced operando characterization.
