Molecular Quantum Materials

About

We study emergent magnetism and spin transport in single organic molecules. Spin-dependent hybridization with ferromagnetic substrates and chirality-induced spin selectivity open new avenues to tunable quantum properties in intrinsically non-magnetic molecules, which advance the control of nanoscale spin currents, e.g. for quantum information technology and spin chemistry.
