Climate statistics
Long-term climate observations
Climate station of the research centre Jülich
Meteorological measurements and climatological observations have been carried out regularly at the climate and weather station at Forschungszentrum Jülich since 1961. In the early days, the data and observations were only recorded in written form. This included handwritten tables as well as sheets and scrolls of liner notes. Some of this data was subsequently digitised so that it could be integrated into analyses.
Below you can choose between a chart and a table representation of the long-term measurements.
Bar charts of annual values since 1961
Charts of annual mean values, annual totals and extreme values of data measured at the weather station of the Jülich Research Centre.
Table of annual values since 1961
Annual values are calculated from the measurements, which are available with a time resolution of ten minutes. Here you will find a table summarising the annual values since 1961.
