Klaus Nusser (Wacker Chemie AG)

Klaus studied physics in Regensburg for his undergraduate studies and received his PhD degree from WWU Münster in 2010. For his doctoral project at Forschungszentrum Jülich, he investigated structure and dynamics of polymer-nanoparticle systems in IFF/JCNS, using different neutron scattering and lab methods.

In 2011, Klaus joined the Business Division Polysilicon (BDP) of Wacker Chemie AG, one of the global market leaders in the production of silicon for the semiconductor and solar industry. He worked as an application engineer with a focus on customers in Japan, Korea, Singapore, as well as technical product manager for the product group “Solar Silicon”. In 2015, Klaus moved to the process development department of BDP heading a team in the area of crushing, conditioning and packaging. Since 2016, he acts as the responsible process development group leader for polysilicon deposition (CVD) and H2 recovery, comprising ~20 developers in different teams.

A light lunch and drinks will be provided. Online registration is mandatory and all places are subject to availability; you will receive an email confirmation once your place on the seminar is reserved.
