Open Day 2025 – Experience Science First-Hand with Jülich Systems Analysis

On Sunday, 7 September 2025, the Forschungszentrum Jülich will once again open its doors to all those curious about science – with hands-on experiments, insights into current research projects, and exciting discoveries across its green campus.
Jülich Systems Analysis (ICE-2) invites visitors to think along and explore:
🌍 H₂Atlas Africa – Discover interactively the potential of green hydrogen on the African continent. Our researchers demonstrate how complex data can be presented in a clear way and applied to global questions about the future.
🧩 Research Rally for Young Visitors – A tricky hydrogen question awaits clever minds. Those who take part can learn about the energy of the future in a playful way.
💡 Citizen Science in Action – The Jülich Citizen Science Centre for Energy presents a short video showing how everyone can become part of real scientific research.
The Open Day makes scientific work tangible – through exchange, clear communication of complex topics, and fresh perspectives on research, technology, and society.
