RESUR II

The empirically based microsimulation model for the household electricity sector developed in RESUR I will be supplemented in RESUR II by a model for the heating sector. This will fully capture non-mobility-related energy demand from private households. The model allows for the analysis of the short- and long-term effects of disruptive events as well as the effectiveness of various policy measures. This enables policymakers to adjust measures as necessary. Additionally, key actors for an effective communication strategy in times of crisis will be identified.
