Helmholtz Information and Data Science Academy (HIDA)

HIDA is Germany's largest postgraduate education network for information and data science. It prepares the next generation of scientists for a data-rich future. The main focus is on the exchange of knowledge and methods in the field of information and data science within the Helmholtz Association. HIDA serves as the umbrella organization for six Helmholtz Information & Data Science Research Schools. They are linked by a network of 13 national research centers and 17 top universities throughout Germany.

HiDA Trainee Network

The HiDA Trainee Network aims at the exchange between Helmholtz Centers. As a PhD student or postdoc, you have the opportunity to complete a fully funded research stay (1-3 months) at one of the 18 Helmholtz Centers.

HiDA Visiting Researcher Grant

Within the framework of the HiDA Visiting Researcher Grant, external scientists spend 1-3 months at one of the Helmholtz Centres.
