US RSE Con'24 - Travel Grants available!

October 15-17, 2024, Albuquerque

This year's theme is Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow: A celebration of all that RSEs have done for computing in the past, in the present, and in the future.

Great news! They are excited to announce the launch of the US-RSE'24 Travel Support Program! This initiative aims to increase the diversity of attendees at US-RSE'24 by providing financial support to individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups and diverse domain backgrounds. Additionally, the program seeks to enable students to attend this important networking event.

Eligibility: Every individual attendee of US-RSE'24 is eligible to apply for this program. Please note that support is provided through reimbursement only. 

Coverage and Maximum Amount: The maximum allotted amount is $2100, which can cover:

• Transportation (plane or train ticket up to $850)

• Lodging (3 nights, up to $800)

• Registration costs ($400)

They may choose to fund a few individuals to the maximum amount possible or distribute smaller amounts to a larger number of individuals.

Timeframe:

• Award applications are due by September 2, 2024.

• Decisions will be made by September 6, 2024.
