Neutron Scattering 2021 Now Cancelled!

We regret to announce that, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 24th JCNS Laboratory Course Neutron Scattering 2021 has now been cancelled.
As the opportunity for personal interaction between students and staff is of great importance during the Laboratory Course, it has been decided that it can only resume when full personal attendance in Jülich and Garching becomes possible again.

How to apply
If you are a student of physics, chemistry, material science or biosciences with a BSc (or equivalent), you are welcome to apply to the ONLINE 24th JCNS Laboratory Course on Neutron Scattering at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
In order to follow the course, you will need an elementary knowledge of applied mathematics, solid state physics and quantum mechanics, which is usually taught as part of a BSc in natural sciences.
The course is aimed at young scientists beginning their studies in neutron scattering and is not intended for post-docs who already have experience in this field.
This course is free of charge and there is no tuition fee.
