Focus: Polarised Neutrons for Condensed Matter Investigations

11 July 2016

More than 120 participants from all over the world attended the 11. International Conference on Polarised Neutrons for Condensed Matter Investigations 2016, PNCMI 2016 for short. The conference, which took place in Freising near Munich, Germany from 4-7 July, focused on latest condensed-matter investigations using polarised neutrons as well as state-of-the-art methodologies and techniques of polarised-neutron production and utilisation for novel instrumentation and experiments. Special emphasis was placed on prospects for new science and new instrument concepts.
