JuRSE Code of the Month - August 2024
Each month we highlight a code from Forschungszentrum Jülich and this month's code is co-developed at Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC).

Heat
Heat is a flexible and seamless open-source software for high performance data analytics and machine learning. It provides highly optimized algorithms and data structures for tensor computations using CPUs, GPUs and distributed cluster systems on top of MPI.
JuRSE selected highlights
A young software project following proper RSE techniques right from the start: code reviews, documentation, CI, you name it. It's maintained across multiple Helmholtz centres, targeting many different scientific communities. The developers focus on interoperability and ease of use, helping users to get "to full speed" quickly.
